She combines this knowledge of ancient eastern and modern western concepts to specialize in sports medicine, orthopedics, pain management, and scar tissue repair.

Martha is a Diplomat in Canonical Herbal Medicine from the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine, where she studied with Dr. Arnaud Versluys. L.Ac., Ph.D. Canonical medicine refers the use of exclusively Han Dynasty (206 BC-221 AD) medical texts. These are the foundations for all modern Chinese medicine, and these herbal formulas remind the body of its natural function, and restore the instinct for self-healing. The emphasis is the promotion of proper physiology from a classical Chinese perspective.
